The Police Called a Number of People Working on Project Contractors on Jalan Gubeng in Ambles

Channel Rakyat. The police conducted inspections around Jalan Gubeng, Surabaya, which collapsed. There were three witnesses who were also questioned by the police.

"Regarding the subsidence of land on Jalan Raya Gubeng, we are currently examining and evacuating victims if this exists. We did the rescue first because the condition is still dark," East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Luki Hermawan told reporters on Wednesday (12/19/2018 )

Luki said that the three witnesses questioned were workers. The police also confiscated a number of items of evidence in the form of project activity documents.

"There are three workers that we have secured for questioning. Just now we took evidence, transfer reports, and reports on daily activities," Luki explained.

"Hopefully with that and the report of the three witnesses tonight we will be able to find out (the cause). Because tonight, the workers were not there at the time," he added.

The police also called the contractor. But Luki has not been able to ascertain what projects are being worked on at the site of land subsidence.

"At 9:00 a.m. the manager had the initials D coming. We have not been able to ascertain what the project is. This is still under investigation," he said.
